St. John’s own “garage band,” Vinyl Velocity, played a 90 minute set of classic rock and R&B tunes from the 1960s and 1970s in the Church Close on Sunday, June 21, 2026. The band includes members and friends of St. John’s (L-R in first photo): Itamar Gov-Ari (guitar and vocals), Brian Ladden (djembe and vocals), Rosemary Minkler (keyboard and vocals), Chris Carrington (drums), and Steve Minkler (bass).
