A Cool Yule Christmas Jazz Concert

If you’re looking to take a break during the hectic holiday season, please join us for an afternoon of contemporary and jazzy Christmas music, fun, and togetherness in the beautiful setting of a traditional, 19th century church. Father-daughter duo Steve and Rosemary Minkler will be joined by friends Chris Carrington, Malin Carta, Henry Church, Larissa Davidowitz, Geri Ely, Robert Havery, Brian Ladden, Jeff Moro, Albert Ramos, the St. John's Choir, and some surprise guests. Applause! Applause! “Spectrum” Concert A Rousing Success!

St. John's "Spectrum of Music Concert" held on Sunday, October 20, 2024, was a spectacular community event of music and friendship! We continue to send our heartfelt gratitude to all of the musicans and organizers who made the evening possible. 100% of the evening's proceeds are dedicated to crucial building projects that will ensure St. John's continues as a house of faith, art and community for generations to come! Spectrum of Music

Join us on Sunday, October 20, at 4:00pm for a benefit concert to preserve St. John's as a cultural center in downtown Waterbury! Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door. Purchase tickets online via EventBrite by clicking here (an online service charge will be added to the cost of the tickets). Spectrum of Music will feature an eclectic blend of musical styles performed by exceptional local artists, all of whom are donating their services:
  • The Waterbury Chorale
  • Joseph Jacovino, solo piano
  • Marissa Famiglietti Apland, soprano vocalist
  • Thirzah Bendokas, cello
  • Robert Havery, pipe organ solos and piano accompaniaments
  • Larissa Davidowitz, soprano vocalist

Waterbury Pride Fest – June 29, 2024

Join us at Waterbury Pride Fest on Saturday, June 29, 2024. St. John's will have a vendor booth celebrating God's love for all people! We need YOUR help to make our celebration as festive as possible. Here are the details: Date: June 29 Set Up Time: 9:30am-11am Pride Parade: 10am-11:30am Pride Fest: 12pm-6pm Break Down Time: 6pm We need: 10x10 open canopy or pop-up tent, tent weights, tables, chairs, table covers, time enjoying the celebration & talking about St. John's.
