<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\nOn Sunday, February 5, 2017 at 3:00pm<\/strong>, join us for a very special concert to benefit St. John’s Episcopal Church in Waterbury, in collaboration with the Waterbury Symphony Orchestra<\/a> and the Kellogg Family.<\/p>\n For more than four centuries, composers have used the combination of pipe organ and brass to portray the noblest of human emotions. This concert features WSO Music Director Leif Bjaland<\/a> with the Waterbury Symphony Orchestra\u2019s brass section, and the outstanding organist Joseph Ripka<\/a>, Organist and Choirmaster at Calvary Church\u00a0in Stonington, CT.<\/a> \u00a0The program is comprised of contrasting works including Johann Sebastian Bach\u2019s\u00a0Toccata and Fugue in D minor, Gigout\u2019s\u00a0Grand Chorus in Dialogue, and Dupr\u00e9\u2019s\u00a0Po\u00e8me H\u00e9ro\u00efque.<\/p>\n The concert is being underwritten by a generous gift from the Kellogg Family, who for several generations have been members and supporters of St. John’s Episcopal Church. \u00a0Their donation is being made in\u00a0honor of their family, with all ticket proceeds\u00a0benefitting\u00a0St. John’s Church.<\/p>\n Tickets are $25.00 each, available at the Church Office, at the Door, or online through EventBrite<\/a>\u00a0($2.37 service fee per ticket added to online sales). \u00a0Discounted student tickets will be available at the door for $10.00 each with a valid student ID.<\/p>\n Buy Tickets<\/a><\/p>\n PROGRAM JOSEPH RIPKA, Organist\/Choir Master![\"\"](\"https:\/\/www.stjohnsonthegreen.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/bjaland.jpg\")
