Worship music at 9:30 is rooted in the traditions of the Episcopal Church’s Hymnal 1982 and Lift Every Voice and Sing. We continue to introduce hymns and songs from a variety of sources – particularly, those featuring singable, contemporary arrangements. Examples include Red Mountain Music’s folk-rock settings of the Gadsby Hymnal (words from the early 1800’s; music from the early 2000’s), original music composed by our musicians and clergy, and “church-appropriate” popular songs such as “What a Wonderful World,” “Here Comes the Sun,” and “I Can See Clearly Now.” The Gloria, Psalm, and Sanctus are sung; and, the musicians offer a prelude, communion anthem, and postlude.

All hymns in the schedule below are from the Episcopal Church’s Hymnal 1982 unless otherwise noted: LEVAS = Lift Every Voice and Sing; WLP = Wonder, Love and Praise; EH = El Himnario; FC = Flor y Canto
